Hydrafacial & Hydrabody Reminders

Hydrafacial & hydrabody Service Guidelines

Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to allow time to change into your robe, get comfortable for your service, and enjoy our relaxation room. When booking a spa appointment, you’ll have access to both the relaxation room and outdoor lounge area before and after your treatment.

All clients must complete a Hydrafacial Form before their first service. If there have been any changes to your health, medications, or other relevant information since your last visit, please update us by completing a new form prior to your next treatment.

Things to Know

  • Pregnancy: You may receive Hydrafacial or Hydrabody services with your doctor’s approval. Products contain less than 2% glycolic and salicylic acid.

  • Botox/Fillers: Wait 2 weeks after injections.

  • Accutane: Must be discontinued for at least 6 months.

Inform your esthetician if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Have medical conditions or allergies

  • Have used Accutane within the past year

  • Have had peels, resurfacing, or advanced exfoliation in the past 30 days

One Week Before Your Appointment

  • Stop exfoliating (scrubs, retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, enzyme treatments)

  • Limit sun exposure and avoid tanning beds

  • Use gentle skincare only; avoid introducing new products

  • Avoid chemical peels or resurfacing unless approved

  • Inform your esthetician of any advanced treatments done within 30 days

One Day Before Your Facial

  • Discontinue active products (retinol, benzoyl peroxide, strong acne treatments)

  • Stay well hydrated

  • Do not exfoliate or shave the treatment area

Day of Your Facial

  • Arrive with clean skin or minimal makeup

  • Avoid heavy workouts beforehand to reduce sensitivity

For Men

  • Shave 24 hours before your appointment (not immediately before)

  • Use gentle shaving cream or gel

  • Avoid alcohol‑based aftershaves

  • Trim beards in advance for better product application

For Hydrabody Treatments

  • Do not shave closer than 24 hours before treatment

  • Avoid laser or depilatory creams for 5–7 days prior

Aftercare

  • Expect little to no downtime; mild redness may occur

  • Avoid makeup, heat, and intense activity for the rest of the day

  • Resume shaving after 2–3 days

  • Resume retinoids and exfoliation after 2–3 days, or once skin has settled

Post‑Treatment Timelines

  • Only resume activities once redness or sensitivity has resolved

  • Waxing may be done before treatment, not after

  • Wait 3–5 days before waxing treated areas

  • Wait 7–10 days before peels, resurfacing, lasers, or intense exfoliation (unless approved)

  • Spray tans may be done same day after treatment on clean, product‑free skin

  • Peels and Hydrafacials cannot be done the same day

  • Brow lamination should not be done on irritated or freshly exfoliated skin and cannot be booked the same day

  • Lash lifts and tints: avoid facials, Hydrafacials, or steam for 48 hours after. If same day, do the skin service first
